I was once greeted with mock horror when I told someone I had never been to Provincetown. How could I, a gay man, have gone so long without visiting one of the chief gay tourist destinations? So off we went in the summer of 2004 to spend a week in P-town. We shared a condo with another couple who turned out to be sort of borderline crazy but we didn’t let that ruin our stay, which coincided with Bear Week and included a few drag shows. It was a blast.
